This Privacy Policy describes how FACEICON ("the app", "we") handles information when you use the FACEICON iOS application. FACEICON is built around a simple principle: your face and your photos belong to you. The app is designed to work without accounts, without profiles, and without collecting personal data.
No account and no registration. FACEICON does not require registration and has no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact or identity information, and we have no database of users.
Photos you choose. When you use the AI Portrait feature, you select a photo from your library or take one with the camera. Before anything is sent, the app shows a consent screen explaining that your photo will be transmitted to OpenAI's image-generation service to create a stylized digital artwork, and asks for your explicit agreement. Only after you agree is the selected photo sent, over an encrypted connection, through our secure backend to OpenAI, where it is processed solely to generate your portrait. The photo is used for that single generation only, is not used to train AI models, and is not retained by our backend after the generation completes. If you do not agree, no image ever leaves your device. OpenAI processes the image as our service provider under its API data-usage terms.
Face and camera data. On devices with a TrueDepth camera, the talking-video feature uses Apple's ARKit face tracking to detect your facial expressions — a smile, a blink, a raised brow — in real time, so that your portrait can mimic them. This processing happens entirely on your device. No face mesh, depth map, facial geometry, or any other biometric information is ever stored, saved, or transmitted anywhere, by us or by anyone else. The camera feed itself is never recorded and never leaves the device.
What stays on your device. Generated portraits, edited images, and recorded videos are stored locally on your device, in the app's own gallery and, if you choose to export them, in your Photos library. We have no copy of them. You can delete any item from the in-app gallery at any time, and deleting the app removes all of its local data.
Generation credits. The app keeps count of your remaining AI generation credits (free and purchased) using a random, anonymous device identifier. This identifier contains no personal information, is not linked to your identity, and is used for no other purpose. Credit accounting runs on Google Firebase, which acts as our infrastructure provider.
Purchases. Additional generation credits are sold exclusively through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment details. Refunds and billing questions are governed by Apple's standard App Store terms.
No tracking and no advertising. FACEICON contains no advertising, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not sell or share your data with data brokers.
Service providers. To operate, the app relies on two categories of service providers: OpenAI (AI image generation, only for photos you explicitly submit) and Google Firebase (secure backend functions and anonymous credit accounting). Both act on our instructions and receive only the minimum data described above.
Children. FACEICON is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Since the app collects no personal data and has no social features, there is no mechanism through which a child's personal information could be gathered.
Data retention and deletion. Because we do not store your photos, portraits, videos, or personal information on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Everything the app creates lives on your device and is removed when you delete it or uninstall the app. The anonymous credit counter persists only so that your purchased generations are not lost; it contains nothing that identifies you.
Security. Photos submitted for generation are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Our backend keeps API credentials server-side; they are never embedded in the app or exposed to the network. On-device data is protected by iOS's standard sandbox and encryption.
Your choices. You decide whether to grant camera, photo library, and microphone access; every permission is requested in context and each feature that needs one works only after you allow it. You can withdraw permissions at any time in iOS Settings. You decide whether any photo is submitted for AI generation — nothing is sent without your explicit confirmation.
Changes to this policy. If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will also be reflected in the app itself where relevant (for example, in consent screens).
By using the FACEICON app you agree to these terms. FACEICON is a creative tool for building and generating stylized digital portraits. You must own the rights to, or have permission to use, any photo you submit for AI generation, and you agree not to submit images of other people without their consent or images that are unlawful. Generated portraits are created for your personal use; you are responsible for how you use and share them outside the app. AI-generated results are produced automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or imperfect; they are provided "as is". Additional generation credits are purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are tied to your device's anonymous credit balance; consumed generations are non-refundable except as required by Apple's App Store terms or applicable law. We may update the app and these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

Information Collection
DanceAnimation does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
The App does not require you to create an account or register.

Photos and Videos
The App requests access to your photo library only when you choose to import photos or save your finished animations.
The App requests access to the camera only if you choose to create animations from recorded videos.
If you choose to record video with sound, the App may request access to your microphone.
All photos, videos, audio, and animations are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
Internet Connection
DanceAnimation does not require an internet connection to create or edit animations.
Third-Party Services
The App does not use third-party services to collect, process, or store your personal information.
Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
