AI Requests

When you voluntarily use AI features, we may process:

text prompts;

generation settings required to complete your request.

Device Information

We may collect:

device model;

operating system;

application version;

language;

crash reports;

diagnostic information;

anonymous analytics information.

Face Data and TrueDepth Camera

Some features of Ailene use Apple’s TrueDepth camera together with ARKit Face Tracking exclusively for the Talking Avatar recording feature.

The App does not collect, store, retain, analyze, identify, authenticate, profile, or otherwise use biometric information.

Specifically, the App does not collect or store:

Face ID information;

biometric identifiers;

biometric templates;

facial geometry;

depth maps;

infrared camera images;

information used to identify an individual.

During recording, Apple’s ARKit temporarily generates facial expression coefficients (“blend shape values”) on the device.

These temporary values are used only to animate the selected avatar in real time while the recording session is active.

The App does not use facial tracking information for:

authentication;

user identification;

advertising;

profiling;

analytics;

marketing;

behavioral tracking.

Face tracking information is processed entirely in volatile memory.

It is never permanently stored on the device or on our servers.

It is never transmitted to Firebase, OpenAI, or any third party.

All temporary facial tracking information is automatically discarded immediately after the recording session ends.

We do not sell, rent, transfer, disclose, or otherwise share TrueDepth or face tracking information.

AI Features

The App provides optional AI-powered features, including AI portrait generation and AI-assisted image creation.

When you request an AI generation:

only the prompts and images explicitly selected by you are securely transmitted;

data is first securely transmitted to our Firebase Cloud Functions backend;

our backend securely invokes OpenAI to perform the requested generation.

The App does not transmit:

Face ID information;

TrueDepth camera data;

ARKit face tracking information;

facial geometry;

depth maps;

biometric identifiers.

OpenAI receives only the information necessary to generate the requested content.

OpenAI is not provided with information capable of identifying a user’s face through Apple’s TrueDepth APIs.

AI requests are processed solely to fulfill the user’s requested generation.

Data Storage

User information is securely stored using Google Firebase services, including:

Firebase Authentication;

Cloud Firestore;

Firebase Storage;

Firebase Cloud Functions.

These services store:

user accounts;

application metadata.

Firebase uses industry-standard encryption and security measures.
